IPL 2024 – Match 27, PBKS vs RR: Nandre Burger to Make a Comeback? Rajasthan Royals Probable Playing 11 vs Punjab Kings

Nandre Burger is expected to fit to play in PBKS vs RR match after sitting out the last one due to an injury

The 27th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will see Punjab Kings hosting Rajasthan Royals at their home ground, the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, in Mullanpur on April 13, Saturday.

In their last game against Gujarat, Rajasthan Royals lost from a winning position. Their bowlers panicked and struggled to execute their skills, and luck didn’t favour them.

Yashasvi Jaiswal displayed pristine form in the last game, indicating he’s fully back into his rhythm. Though he couldn’t capitalise, it’s evident a big score is just around the corner.

Jos Buttler attempted to counter his negative matchup with Rashid Khan and paid the price. Apart from his century against Bengaluru, he has largely been out of touch in the tournament.

Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag have shown consistency this season, forming a reliable partnership in batting.

Rajasthan’s death-hitting remains untested, with finishers Shimron Hetmyer and Dhruv Jurel lacking sufficient game time in the middle.

Rajasthan Royals’ Dominant Spin Attack

Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal form the tournament’s best spin-bowling duo. Chahal’s effectiveness in the death overs provides options for Rajasthan, while Ashwin adds depth to their batting.

Trent Boult

Trent Boult has excelled with the new ball, providing crucial breakthroughs for Rajasthan. However, their death bowling has been problematic.

Nandre Burger, who missed the last match due to injury, is expected to return, bolstering their death overs options.

Avesh Khan, along with Boult and Burger, will lead Rajasthan’s pace bowling attack. Shubham Dubey is anticipated to be their Impact Player.
