BCCI Announces 15-Member India Squad for Five-Match T20I Series Against Australia
Suryakumar Yadav has been appointed as India’s T20I captain for this series.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), on Monday, November 20, announced the squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series against Australia, starting November 23 at Visakhapatnam.
Suryakumar Yadav has been appointed as the captain for the series, while senior players have been given rest after the 2023 World Cup. Ruturaj Gaikwad will shoulder the responsibility of the vice captain in the first three matches of the series.
Meanwhile, Shreyas Iyer, Who has been given rest for the first three matches of the series, will join the team for the last two matches, where he will act as the deputy to Suryakumar Yadav.
Ishan Kishan, and Jitesh Sharma have been selected as the wicketkeeping options, with Sanju Samson once again missing out on a spot in the squad.

Note: Shreyas Iyer will join the squad as vice-captain for the last two T20Is in Raipur and Bengaluru.
