Big Blow To Rajasthan Royals As Star Pacer Ruled Out Of Entire IPL 2024 Season
Prasidh Krishna also missed the IPL 2023 season.
Rajasthan Royals have suffered a big blow as star pacer Prasidh Krishna has been sidelined from the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 due to a quadriceps injury.
Krishna picked up the injury in a Ranji Trophy clash between Karnataka and Gujarat on January 12. This injury also ruled him out of the India vs England Test series earlier.
“Prasidh Krishna underwent surgery on February 23rd, 2024, on his left proximal quadriceps tendon. He is currently being monitored by the BCCI Medical Team and will resume rehab at the National Cricket Academy soon. He will not be able to take part in the upcoming TATA IPL 2024,” BCCI said in a medical release.
Long Injury History For Prasidh Krishna
Prasidh had also missed the entire IPL 2023 season due to injury after being an integral part of Rajasthan Royals’ run to the final in 2022, where he picked up 19 wickets in 17 matches. Royals had replaced Prasidh with the vastly experienced Sandeep Sharma in IPL 2023.
