CPL 2024: Trinbago Knight Riders Sign Jason Roy and Tim David
Trinbago Knight Riders have signed Tim David and Jason Roy for the CPL 2024 season.
Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) have bolstered their batting lineup for the upcoming Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024 with the signings of two powerful batters, Jason Roy and Tim David.
TKR, who finished runners-up in the 2023 season, have retained their core group of players including Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Kieron Pollard, Nicholas Pooran, and Dwayne Bravo.
The team impressed last season, reaching the final after defeating Guyana Amazon Warriors in Qualifier 1. Looking to go one step further in 2024, TKR have added the firepower of Tim David and Jason Roy.
Tim David, a hard-hitting lower-order batter, is also part of the Australian squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
Jason Roy, an explosive opening batter from England, is currently without a central contract but remains a sought-after player in franchise leagues worldwide.
TKR’s squad is nearly complete, with 15 players already confirmed. They will fill the remaining two spots through the players’ draft scheduled for July.
