RCB vs KKR Match Preview

The excitement of T20 cricket continues as IPL 2021 Match 10 between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders are all set to get underway on Sunday.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore is the only side which remains unbeaten after one week of the tournament. They are on fire and have two wins in two games so far. Their bowling attack has been very impressive in the two matches with Harshal Patel being very impressive on both the occasions. The addition of Glenn Maxwell in the middle order has also worked wonders, with the Aussie looking in fine touch alongside star batsman AB de Villiers.

Harshal Patel, Mohammed Siraj and Kyle Jamieson have shouldered the bowling attack well. Devdutt Padikkal might have failed in the first match but he is expected to play big knock in the next fixture. They might not bring too many changes to their playing XI for this match. Once Daniel Sams or Adam Zampa available then they might think of replacing Dan Christian.

The Kolkata Knight Riders, on the other hand have played two games, out of which they have won one and lost as many. They lost their previous match against Mumbai Indians by 10 runs. Despite dominating proceedings for large parts of the game, their middle order concerns creeped up yet again to hand them a loss.

They will expect more contribution from senior spinner Harbhajan Singh and young pacer Prasidh Krishna. Harbhajan has bowled just three overs across two matches, while Prasidh has struggled for as he conceded many runs in the last two matches. Similarly, Morgan needs to find his rhythm as a batsman and that is important to glue the team together.

With two valuable points and the top spot on the IPL 2021 points table up for grabs, we should be in for a cracker of a game on Saturday.
