Andre Russell Sends Ball Into Orbit With 106M Six – Check Where It Ranks in IPL 2025
Andre Russell smashed a 106-metre six against DC to join Abhishek Sharma in the list of longest sixes in IPL 2025.

Andre Russell might not be in the best form of his life, but when it comes to power-hitting, few can match his brute strength. The big man from Jamaica proved that once again in the 48th match of IPL 2025 between Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals in Delhi.
In the final over of the first innings, bowled by Mitchell Starc, Russell hammered a low full toss straight down the ground for a 106-metre six.
It was a clean strike that travelled deep into the stands, making it the second-longest six of the season so far. With that, Russell joined Abhishek Sharma, who also smashed a 106-metre six earlier in the tournament.
The biggest six of IPL 2025 still belongs to Heinrich Klaasen. The Sunrisers Hyderabad batter hit a 107-metre six against Mumbai Indians at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad.
His teammate Travis Head also features in the list with a 105-metre hit. Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Phil Salt and SRH’s Aniket Verma have also crossed the 100-metre mark this season.
Russell’s knock was short but impactful. He scored 17 runs from 9 balls, including two fours and the massive six that got the crowd on its feet. KKR fans would surely want to see more such explosive cameos from their star all-rounder in the coming matches.
