Asia Cup 2023: [Watch] Virat Kohli Falls to Shaheen Afridi’s Pace in IND vs PAK Clash

Team India had a disastrous start against Pakistan in their opening match of the Asia Cup 2023, as they were reduced to 27-2 in just 6.3 overs, losing both of their experienced batters, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, to Shaheen Afridi.

Kohli came in to bat when Rohit’s stint ended at just 11 runs. He showed some flair with a boundary via a cover drive against Naseem Shah but had a bit of a mishap as he got an inside edge off Shaheen Afridi, sending the ball crashing into the stumps.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bat, a move that did not sit comfortably with many cricket pundits and experts. They believed that the cloudy conditions and the significant swing in the air would make batting quite tough.
