Former Australian cricketer David Warner is all set to make his debut in the Telugu film industry. Warner, who has always shown love for Tollywood, will appear in a special cameo in the upcoming movie Robinhood.

According to The Times of India, producer Ravi Shankar confirmed Warner’s role in Robinhood during a promotional event in Hyderabad. The film, directed by Venky Kudumula, is an action-comedy based on the legendary Robin Hood story. It stars Nithiin in the lead role, along with Sreeleela, Shine Tom Chacko, Vennela Kishore, and Rajendra Prasad.

Reports suggest that Warner was offered a whopping Rs 1 crore per day for his role. While details about his character are still unknown, fans are excited to see him on the big screen.

Robinhood’s Release Date

Warner has recently retired from international cricket, and now, his passion for Telugu cinema is becoming a reality. Robinhood is set to release in theatres on March 28, 2025.
