The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the fixtures for the Indian cricket team’s 2024-25 international home season on Thursday, June 20.
The Indian international home season kicks off with a two-match Test series against Bangladesh. The opening Test is scheduled for September 23 in Chennai, followed by the second Test on October 1 in Kanpur.
Afterwards, the two teams will compete in a three-match T20I series, with matches in Dharamsala, Delhi, and Hyderabad.
Following the Bangladesh series, India will take on New Zealand in a three-match Test series. The first Test starts on October 20 in Bengaluru, just eight days after the final T20I against Bangladesh. The remaining Tests will be held in Pune and Mumbai.
The home season will finish with an exciting series between India and England. The two teams will compete in a five-match T20I series, beginning on January 22, 2025.
The matches will be hosted in Chennai, Kolkata, Rajkot, Pune, and Mumbai. England’s tour will wrap up with a three-match ODI series, with games scheduled in Nagpur, Cuttack, and Ahmedabad.
