Brydon Carse Ruled Out of IPL 2025, SRH Bring in Wiaan Mulder
Wiaan Mulder has replaced Brydon Carse in SRH squad for IPL 2025.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have made a change to their squad for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. England pacer Brydon Carse has been ruled out of the tournament due to an injury. To replace him, SRH have signed South African all-rounder Wiaan Mulder.
Wiaan Mulder Joins SRH for INR 75 Lakh
Mulder, who can both bat and bowl, will join SRH for INR 75 lakh. He has played for South Africa in international cricket and has experience in T20 leagues. His addition will provide balance to the team, as he can contribute with both bat and ball.
The South African all-rounder has 11 T20I appearances, where he has picked up 8 wickets at an average of 24.37. He has also scored 105 runs in 8 innings, maintaining a strike rate of 116.66.
Carse’s injury is a setback for SRH, but the team will hope that Mulder can make an impact. With the tournament approaching, SRH will now focus on preparing with their updated squad.
