Check Out the Latest Training Kit Unveiled by BCCI for Team India Ahead of WTC Final

BCCI recently unveiled Team India's new training kit.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), on Thursday, May 25 unveiled Team India’s new training kit, ahead of the World Test Championship final against Australia.

The BCCI’s official Twitter account posted pictures of Indian players and support staff, led by coach Rahul Dravid, kickstarting their preparations in their new Adidas training jerseys:

Earlier, the BCCI secretary Jay Shah had confirmed earlier this week that Adidas had been signed as the new kit sponsor for the Indian cricket team.

The board also confirmed that their kit sponsorship agreement with the German sporting goods powerhouse will continue until March 2028.

The Indian cricket team will showcase the brand-new apparel for the first time in the highly anticipated World Test Championship final next month, where they will face Australia.

Team India to reach England in three batches

With the IPL 2023 playoffs still underway, the Indian team will depart for England in three batches, with the support staff along with Shardul Thakur, Umesh Yadav, and Axar Patel in the first batch which left on May 23 and has already begun preparations for the final.

Meanwhile, the likes of Virat Kohli, R Ashwin, and Mohammed Siraj have reached the UK on Thursday, May 26 and have started preparations. Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, and Mohammed Shami are still in India as their respective teams are still in the IPL 2023 title race.
