Cricket West Indies and the national squad has launched its national team's new T20 jersey. The jersey would be a fixed one for all the T20I matches leading up to the ICC T20 World Cup in 2021 in India.

Cricket West Indies and the national squad has launched its national team’s new T20 jersey. The Caribbean team will be on the field with New Jersey for the first time in the upcoming three-match series against New Zealand. This jersey has been unveiled in the wake of next year’s T20 World Cup in India. The T20I jersey features a radiant, contemporary maroon, and yellow geometric pattern along with sleeves of maroon colour.
The jersey would be a fixed one for all the T20I matches leading up to the ICC T20 World Cup in 2021 in India and be the same for the women’s team too. The West Indies team has won the Men’s T20 World Cup twice. In 2012, the West Indies won the T20 World Cup title in Sri Lanka and then in 2016 under the captaincy of Darren Sammy in India.
Cricket West Indies’ Commercial Director Dominic Warne was glad and excited while launching the new T20I jersey for West Indies. He is also confident that the fans around the world will love the bold design of the jersey and will support West Indies for the upcoming series and throughout next year
“We’re really excited for the new T20I shirt to debut with the West Indies Men’s team in New Zealand. We know that the fans will love the bold design and rally behind the #MenInMaroon for this series and throughout 2021,” Warne said in an official statement.
West Indies and New Zealand are to play a series of three T20 matches against each other, whose first match will be played on 27 November.
On the other hand, the host Kiwi team will be seen in its traditional colours. The New Zealand team wears a black jersey in T20 cricket, but the colour of the T20 jersey of the New Zealand women’s team is slightly different.
