‘Dhoni Not Talented Like Virat Kohli’ – Nitish Reddy Apologizes After Facing Backlash for Controversial Comments

Nitish Reddy has apologised for his controversial remark and also stated that he is a huge admirer of MS Dhoni.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) player Nitish Reddy sparked controversy as a video of him criticizing former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni’s skills and batting technique circulated widely on social media.

In a viral video, Nitish Reddy claimed that the former CSK captain lacks talent and his technique falls short compared to RCB star Virat Kohli. Here’s what the STH batter said in a Bhaje Vaayu Vegham movie promotion:

“Dhoni has talent, in the sense that…. talent is there but the technique is not there. Dhoni doesn’t have Virat Kohli’s range of techniques.”

However, it appears Nitish Reddy’s comments were a slip of the tongue and taken out of context. The full video, which was later shared on social media, shows him praising MS Dhoni‘s strength and gameplay.

Nitish took to social media to tell that the video they have seen is just a short clip of the interview and he didn’t mean to insult MS Dhoni.
