Different People, Different Rules: Harbhajan Singh Upset Over SuryaKumar Yadav Not Getting a Place in The Team For Australia Tour
BCCI announced Team India for the Australian tour on Monday. This will be Team India's first international tour after the Covid-19 pandemic. Suryakumar Yadav not named in the list.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced Team India for the Australian tour on Monday. This will be Team India’s first international tour after the COVID-19 pandemic. Rohit Sharma is not named in the team as he is suffering from a hamstring injury. He has also missed his last two games for Mumbai Indians. Kieron Pollard was seen leading the team in his absence.
The BCCI named KL Rahul as vice-captain of the limited-overs sides in the absence of Rohit Sharma.
Apart from this, young wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant is also not being selected for ODIs and T20s due to fitness issues.
Before the team selection for the Australia tour, everyone was hoping that Suryakumar Yadav, who is performing brilliantly for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL would surely get a place in the Team India’s squad but it didn’t happen as he, once again, got ignored by the board and did not get a place in team India for the Australia tour.
Meanwhile, legendary off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has expressed his displeasure over his not being selected.
Harbhajan Singh took to Twitter and wrote, “Don’t know what else Suryakumar Yadav
needs to do get picked in the team india.. he has been performing every ipl and Ranji season..different people different rules I guess BCCI I request all the selectors to see his records.”
Talking about his record in IPL2020, Suryakumar Yadav’s journey here has been fantastic. In 11 matches played so far, he has scored 283 runs at a strike rate of 149. He also has two half-centuries in his name.79 is his highest score in the ongoing tournament.
The team India is scheduled to visit Australia after completion of the 13th edition of Indian Premier League. They will play three T20s, three ODIs and four Test matches in the Australian tour.
According to plans, soon after the completion of IPL-2020, the Indian players and Australian players will fly directly to Australia from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
