Gujarat Titans head coach Ashish Nehra was seen fuming in the dugout after Sherfane Rutherford played an unnecessary big shot and lost his wicket during their IPL 2025 match against Mumbai Indians at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
Rutherford, who was batting on 18 off 11 balls, attempted a lofted shot against Deepak Chahar but mistimed it straight into the hands of Mitchell Santner at long-off. His dismissal came at a crucial stage, leaving Gujarat Titans at 179/6 in 18.2 overs.
Ashish Nehra, known for his animated reactions, was visibly frustrated, shouting and gesturing in disappointment. The moment quickly went viral on social media, with fans reacting to the coach’s outburst.
