Gujarat Titans posted a huge total of 217 runs for 6 wickets in their 20 overs against Rajasthan Royals, thanks to strong batting from Sai Sudharsan and a late boost from Rahul Tewatia.
After a slow start where captain Shubman Gill got out early for just 2 runs, Sai Sudharsan held one end and kept the scoreboard ticking. He played a beautiful innings, scoring 82 runs off 53 balls, including 8 fours and 3 sixes. His smart and steady batting gave the team a strong base.
He was well supported in the middle by Jos Buttler, who added 36 runs off 25 balls, and Shahrukh Khan, who played an attacking knock of 36 runs off 20 balls. They both made sure that the team didn’t slow down during the middle overs.
But it was in the final overs that Gujarat Titans accelerated. After Sudharsan got out in the 19th over, Rahul Tewatia stepped up and played a quickfire knock. He scored 24 runs off just 12 balls with 2 fours and 2 sixes, showing his finishing skills once again.
