Hardik Pandya to Join Team India in USA for T20 World Cup 2024 After Vacation Break

Hardik Pandya has not joined team India in USA as of now.

Star Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya was not part of the Indian contingent that recently departed for the T20 World Cup 2024 in New York. While several key players like Rohit Sharma and Arshdeep Singh were seen on their flight to the US, Hardik Pandya’s omission sparked questions.

This follows a forgettable IPL 2024 season for Hardik Pandya, who captained a struggling Mumbai Indians franchise. Reports also suggest the star player might be dealing with personal issues, including rumoured marital problems.

According to Cricbuzz, Hardik Pandya is currently vacationing overseas after leaving India following the IPL. However, fans can expect him to join Team India in New York before the crucial T20 World Cup campaign gets underway.

Other players, including Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Avesh Khan, will be departing for New York at a later date, alongside Rinku Singh.

Team India, led by Rohit Sharma, will begin their World Cup campaign with a warm-up match against Bangladesh. Their official tournament opener will be against Ireland on June 5th in New York, followed by the much-anticipated clash against arch-rivals Pakistan on June 9th at the same venue.
