‘Hoping for Virat Kohli’s 49th and 50th ODI Century in World Cup 2023’ – Mohammad Rizwan

Mohammad Rizwan expresses desire for Virat Kohli's 49th and 50th ODI centuries in World Cup 2023

Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Rizwan expressed his desire to see former Indian captain Virat Kohli achieve his 49th and 50th ODI centuries in the 2023 World Cup.

Notably, Virat Kohli is in stupendous form in the ongoing World Cup, having already smashed three half-centuries and one century in the tournament. He will undoubtedly be looking for more in the upcoming remaining matches.

The 34-year-old is on the cusp of equaling the legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar‘s record for the most ODI centuries, with just one century to go. Currently, Kohli has 48 ODI centuries to his name.

Here’s what Mohammad Rizwan said:

“Hope Virat Kohli gets his 49th and 50th century in this World Cup.”

The Pakistan team is teetering on the edge of elimination from the ODI World Cup 2023, having won only two out of six matches played. They are set to face Bangladesh in their next match on Tuesday, October 31st in Kolkata.
