For the second time in a row, India has advanced to the final of the World Test Championship. In the inaugural edition of 2019-21, India faced New Zealand in an enthralling clash at the Rose Bowl in Southampton, which saw Kane Williamson’s side claim the title.
India, however. faced a series of injury blows prior to the WTC finals, with key players like Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah already sidelined. Later, Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul were also ruled out from the marquee event due to their surgeries. It will be intriguing to see how India responds to the stern test posed by Australia in this match.
