SRH’s Nitish Reddy vows that, inspired by RCB’s comeback, his team will win every remaining game to secure a playoff spot in IPL 2025.
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s young all-rounder Nitish Reddy has kept the team’s hopes alive despite a difficult IPL 2025 campaign. After SRH’s win over Chennai Super Kings, Reddy said that the team is fully focused on winning their remaining matches and qualifying for the playoffs — just like Royal Challengers Bengaluru did last season.
“Just like RCB did last year, we want to win all the games now,” Nitish said, showing confidence in SRH’s chances. In IPL 2024, RCB won six back-to-back matches after losing seven out of their first eight and still managed to make it into the top four. That comeback has now become a motivation for struggling teams.
SRH have been inconsistent this season, but their recent victory has kept them alive in the race. With a few league matches still left, Pat Cummins and his squad know what they need to do – win every game and keep the Net Run Rate in check.
