Dubai Capitals lifted the ILT20 2025 title with a four-wicket victory over Desert Vipers in the final at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Chasing 190, Rovman Powell and Sikandar Raza delivered match-winning knocks to take their team over the line with four balls to spare.
Max Holden, Sam Curran Shine for Desert Vipers
After losing two early wickets, Desert Vipers were rescued by Max Holden’s 76 off 51 balls. Skipper Sam Curran played a blistering knock of 62 off 33, while Azam Khan (27 off 13) provided a late flourish to push the total to 189/5 in 20 overs.
Obed McCoy (2/44) and Sikandar Raza (1/42) were among the wickets for Dubai Capitals.
Powell, Raza Steer Dubai Capitals to Victory
Dubai Capitals had a shaky start, losing three wickets inside five overs. However, Shai Hope (43 off 39) and Rovman Powell (63 off 38) rebuilt the innings before Sikandar Raza’s unbeaten 34 off just 12 balls sealed the win.
With four balls remaining, Raza’s aggressive finish ensured Dubai Capitals won their maiden ILT20 title in style.
