ILT20 2025 Match 15: Desert Vipers vs Sharjah Warriorz – Match Highlights and Scorecard

Desert Vipers beat Sharjah Warriorz by 10 wickets in the 15th match of the International League T20 (ILT20) 2025.

The Desert Vipers secured a dominating 10-wicket victory over Sharjah Warriorz in the 15th match of the ILT20 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. After winning the toss, the Vipers opted to bowl first, and their bowlers wreaked havoc, bundling out the Warriorz for just 91 runs.

Warriorz Struggle with the Bat

Sharjah Warriorz had a tough outing with the bat as none of their players, apart from Jason Roy (30* off 34), managed to hold the innings together. The top order collapsed quickly, with Mohammad Amir picking up 4 wickets for 24 runs. Wanindu Hasaranga also played a key role, bagging 3 wickets for just 10 runs in his 4-over spell. Sam Curran chipped in with 2 wickets as the Warriorz were bowled out in 19.1 overs.

Fall of wickets started early, with Avishka Fernando and Johnson Charles back in the pavilion in the very first over. The middle order and lower order failed to recover as wickets fell in quick succession, leaving the Warriorz with a modest total of 91.

Fakhar Zaman’s Explosive Knock Seals the Game

Chasing a low target, the Desert Vipers cruised to victory in just 10 overs without losing a wicket. Fakhar Zaman was the star of the chase, smashing an unbeaten 71 off 39 balls, including 7 fours and 4 sixes. His aggressive innings ensured the game was over in no time. Alex Hales supported him well with 23 not out off 21 balls.

The Vipers’ openers showed complete dominance, taking full advantage of the poor bowling performance from the Warriorz. Tim Southee, Adam Milne, and the rest of the bowlers struggled to create any pressure on the batters.
