India Poses Biggest Threat to Australia in T20 World Cup 2024 – Michael Clarke

Michael Clarke also predicted India to win T20 World Cup 2024.

Former Australian cricket star Michael Clarke believes India will be Australia’s toughest opponent in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 starting June 1st in the USA (co-hosted by West Indies).

Both India and Australia have strong teams with a good chance of winning. He also predicted India to win if both teams manage to make it to the final of the biennial tournament.

Here’s what Michael Clarke told ESPN Australia:

“India are the biggest threat to Australia in the T20 World Cup. India are the favourites to win it.”

There’s no doubt that India’s bowling attack, with fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and spin wizard Kuldeep Yadav, is a big worry for Australia. Their batters, including Virat Kohli and the young talent Yashasvi Jaiswal are also in a great touch.

Australia isn’t weak either. Batters like Travis Head, Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Marsh are all in great shape. Spinners Ashton Agar and Adam Zampa will be crucial in stopping the Indian batters.
