India to Face Pakistan on July 19 As Women’s Asia Cup 2024 Schedule Announced

The schedule for the Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2024 has been announced, with the tournament set to take place in Dambulla, Sri Lanka, from July 19 to 28.

Defending champions India will commence their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on July 19. Initially, India was set to face the UAE in their opening match, but the revised schedule has them playing Pakistan first, followed by a match against the UAE on July 21.

This edition of the Asia Cup is historic as it will feature eight teams for the first time, expanding from the seven teams that participated in 2022.

Group Division in Women’s Asia Cup 2024

The teams are divided into two groups for the tournament. Group A consists of India, Pakistan, Nepal, and the UAE, while Group B includes Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Thailand.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals on July 26, with the final scheduled for July 28.
