Team India is battling it out against New Zealand in the World Test Championship (WTC) final that started from Friday at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton.

As the first day of the match was washed out, New Zealand won the toss and decided to bowl on Day 2.

Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill batted well and put up a formidable 62-run stand before the Kyle Jamieson sent Sharma back to pavilion. Gill, too, couldn’t maintain momentum and was caught by the wicketkeeper BJ Watling off a Neil Wagner delivery.

Then comes Cheteshwar Pujara at number 3, whose strike-rate in Test cricket has been a constant subject of debate for sometime now and the India No. 3 did his stats no good on Saturday, scoring 8 off 54 balls.

He took 36 balls to get off the mark and was eventually trapped in front of wicket by New Zealand pacer Trent Boult.

Talking about same, a Sri Lankan fan Daniel Alexander taunted the Saurashtra-cricketer for paying tribute to the “36 all out” of his team during the second innings of the Adelaide Test.

“Pujara got off the mark in the 36th delivery as a tribute to their “36 all out” in the Adelaide Test inns. #Cricket”, Alexander tweeted.

However, the Tweet didn’t go well with the Indian fans, and they quickly slammed the user for his mean comments on Cheteshwar Pujara. While some called him “CryBaby“, few have pulled his leg for the dismal performance of Sri Lankan players in WTC cycle. We have got some top reactions for you. Have a look:
