INDW vs ENGW: Deepti Sharma’s Record Breaking Five-Wicket Haul Shatters England for 136 Runs
Deepti Sharma picked up a five-wicket haul as England Women got bundled out for just 136 runs.

Deepti Sharma emerged as England’s tormentor once more, weaving an extraordinary spell that saw her claiming five wickets for a mere seven runs. This outstanding performance led to the visitors being bundled out for 136 in the one-off test match in Navi Mumbai.
With this, Deepti Sharma has now joined an exclusive club, becoming the second Indian batter to achieve a fifty and a five-for in a women’s Test match. Shubhangi Kulkarni was the first, achieving this rare feat in 1985 against New Zealand.
The star all-rounder, who added 67 runs to India’s first innings total of 428, dismantled England’s middle and lower order, orchestrating a dramatic collapse from 126-5 and granting Harmanpreet Kaur’s side a commanding 292-run lead.
The one-off Test match is certainly going towards a draw.
