IPL 2021: Delhi Capitals (DC) Updated Squad For 2nd Leg In UAE

The remaining phase of the Indian Premier League 2021 will kickstart on September 19 and Delhi Capitals will play their opening game against SunRisers Hyderabad on September 22 in Dubai.

They are scheduled to play 6 matches during the group stage of the UAE leg of IPL 2021. Delhi Capitals have had a smooth run in the first half of the tournament, with six wins from eight games. They are currently placed at the top of the points table with 10 points in their account.

They won matches against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings and twice against Punjab Kings while their 2 losses came against Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

With their regular skipper Shreyas Iyer injured, Delhi Capitals were led by Rishabh Pant in the first phase of IPL 2021. However, Shreyas Iyer is all fit to play in the second leg and his inclusion will definitely strengthen the team.

Chris Woakes, who ruled out of the IPL 2021 just a few days away from the commencement of the IPL 2021 has been replaced by the Australian fast bowler Ben Dwarshuis. Rest of the squad will remain same for the UAE leg of IPL 2021.
