Patel took hat-trick against the defending champions Mumbai Indians on Sunday in the 39th match of the Indian Premier League 2021 encounter in Dubai. The magic poured in the 17th over of Mumbai’s innings, who got a brilliant start in the 166-run chase, but then kept losing wickets at regular intervals.

Virat Kohli, the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore handed the ball to Harshal Patel in the 17th over, and on the first ball itself, he dismissed Hardik Pandya by a slower one. The Mumbai all rounder mistimed his shot and gave an easy catch to Kohli.
