IPL 2023 Auction: Delhi Capitals (DC) Purse Remaining After Retention
DC traded Shardul Thakur to MI for Aman Khan during the trade window of IPL 2023.
Delhi Capitals released four players and traded one to Kolkata Knight Riders ahead of the upcoming IPL 2023 auction. Overall, they have retained 19 players and will be heading into the IPL 2023 auction with a purse of INR 19.45 Crore.
They have traded Shardul Thakur to two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders for Mumbai’s uncapped all-rounder Aman Khan and cash. DC had spent a huge sum of INR 10.75 Crore on him in the mega-auction.
However, Shardul couldn’t live up to the expectations in the 2022 edition of the cash-rich tournament, having managed to score just 120 runs and picking 15 wickets. The Capitals released Kiwi batter Tim Seifert, KS Bharat, Ashwin Hebbar and Mandeep Singh ahead of the IPL 2023 auction.
