The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 mini-auction, held in Kochi on Friday (December 23) lived up to the hype and was a blockbuster one, which saw ten franchises finalising their squad ahead of the 16th edition of IPL.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, who released a plethora of players ahead of the mini-auction, including captain Kane Williamson, headed into the marquee event with the biggest purse of 42.25 Crore with a total of 13 slots to fill, including four overseas players.
