Mohit Sharma faced a barrage of negative comments on social media following his dismissal of MS Dhoni.
In an unfortunate twist of events, Mohit Sharma, the Gujarat Titans pacer, faced severe backlash on social media after dismissing MS Dhoni for just one run in the 1st qualifier match of IPL 2023 between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk on Tuesday, May 23.
Mohit delivered a slower back-of-the-hand ball, pitching it full. MS Dhoni attempted to play it on the offside but couldn’t time it properly, resulting in an easy catch for the Gujarat captain, Hardik Pandya, who was stationed at cover. A sudden hush fell over the entire stadium.
