The 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) mini-auction is scheduled to happen in Dubai on December 19. Meanwhile, teams are required to submit their lists of released retainer players by November 26.

The trade window is currently open, allowing all 10 teams to swap players or cash as they see fit. Notably, the Mumbai Indians have secured West Indies all-rounder Romário Shepherd from the Lucknow Super Giants in exchange for INR 50 Lakhs.

Ahead of the much-awaited mini auction, one question that has been on the minds of cricket fans worldwide is the purse with which all 10 teams will enter the mini auction. Let’s take a look at it:

Purse for IPL 2024 Auction

Each team is granted a purse of INR 100 crore, a notable increase of INR 5 crore from last season’s purse of INR 95 crore. Although each team’s final purse heading into the auction will depend on the respective team’s retention and release of players before the auction.
