In what is coming as a big blow for the Mumbai Indians (MI) ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season, their newly recruited fast bowler, Gerald Coetzee, may miss the first few matches as he is yet to complete his recovery.
The Mumbai Indians acquired the services of the promising South African pace sensation, Gerald Coetzee, for a hefty INR 5 crore during the IPL 2024 auction, conducted in Dubai last December.
Gerald Coetzee is expected to bolster the pace arsenal of the Mumbai Indians alongside Jasprit Bumrah, forming a formidable pace attack. Additionally, Jason Behrendorff is also expected to join them in the starting playing 11.
The Mumbai Indians are scheduled to begin their IPL 2024 journey against the Gujarat Titans (GT) on March 24th at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
