IPL 2024: LSG Pacer Mayank Yadav Declared Fit To Play Against CSK
Mayank Yadav is expected to play the upcoming game against CSK.
Chennai Super Kings will face off against Lucknow Super Giants in the 19th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium, Lucknow on April 19.
CSK has won four out of the six matches they have played in the tournament so far, while LSG, led by KL Rahul, has managed to secure three victories out of their six matches, with an equal number of losses.
Heading into this game, the biggest question on everyone’s mind is whether the new fast bowling sensation, Mayank Yadav, will be fit enough to play against CSK.
The franchise has provided an answer by uploading a video of Mayank Yadav bowling in the nets, indicating that he is completely fit.
This means that the young Delhi pacer will indeed be playing in the upcoming game against Chennai Super Kings.
Earlier, the head coach of Lucknow Super Giants, Justin Langer, had also confirmed his availability for the CSK game after missing two matches against Delhi Capitals and KKR.
Mayank Yadav to Play T20 World Cup 2024
Mayank Yadav, who has emerged as a fast bowling powerhouse in the ongoing season, impressing the entire cricket fraternity and fans by touching 156 kmph, raises hopes of inclusion in India’s T20 World Cup 2024 squad.
Arshdeep Singh, who has not been at his best, might not secure a place in the T20 World Cup 2024 squad. In that case, his team India will surely be exploring better options to complement Jasprit Bumrah, and Mayank Yadav could be a great addition to the team.
