The 12th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will see Gujarat Titans going head-to-head against the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on March 31, Sunday.

Travis Head after missing out on the first game, is back and expected to open with either of Mayank Agarwal or Rahul Tripathi who would again want to give their team a solid headstart in the powerplay.

Abhishek Sharma in the last game should his spin-hitting range and his game against fast bowling is now better than it was a year ago which makes him a dangerous customer to deal with.

Following him there is the T20 skipper of his national team, Aiden Markram who has had a bit of struggle against slow left-arm spin, but when paired with Abhishek Sharma, both of them complement each other with their hand as well as skill set.

Heinrich Klaasen unarguably is the best T20 batter in the world on the back of his magnificent performances across the globe, there’s no specific bowling type against which he could be contained.

Under his helm, there is Abdul Samad who till now has failed to live up to the promise he eventually made last year.

Shahbaz Ahmed and Pat Cummins provide them the batting depth every team craves for and both also operate the middle overs bowling duty for their franchise which leaves them with a lot of options to work with in the rest of the phases.

Bhuvaneshwar Kumar will again share the new ball duties with Jaydev Unadkat who would want to get some scalps under his belt with the new ball.

Mayank Markande under the absence of Wanindu Hasaranga has gone for plenty of runs, he would want his returns to improve because Hasaranga takes up an overseas slot which will make them handicapped with their overseas options.

Umran Malik may again come in as an Impact substitute.
