IPL 2024 – Match 23, PBKS vs SRH: Liam Livingstone to Make a Comeback? Punjab Kings Probable Playing 11 vs Sunrisers Hyderabad
Liam Livingstone missed their previous match for Punjab due to injury.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will be facing Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the match 23 of IPL 2024. This match will be played at the International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur, Chandigarh on 9th April, Tuesday.
SRH have won two matches so far out of four games, they won their previous against CSK by 6 wickets at their home ground.
PBKS are coming high on confidence after chasing down 199 runs against GT, Shashank Singh played the match-winning knock for the team, and PBKS has also won two matches out of four so far.
Liam Livingstone Could Comeback:
Liam who missed Punjab’s previous match due to an injury is now expected to be back, he has started practising.
In Liam’s absence, Sikandar Raza got an opportunity but he failed to make a mark as he conceded 22 runs in his 2 overs and scored just 15 runs off 16 deliveries.
Ashutosh Sharma Impressed:
Ashutosh who came in as an impact player for PBKS in the previous match scored 31 runs off 17 balls and he stitched a quick partnership with Shashank, helping PBKS chase 199.
Although it will be interesting to see how PBKS will fit him in the playing 11 or even as a substitute if Liam Livingstone returns.
Prabhsimran Singh Consistently Failing to Score Big:
Prabhsimran who scored a century for PBKS last year, has struggled to convert his starts into big scores, he has been getting starts in every game.
PBKS will expect him and Jitesh to smash runs in the same way they were scoring last season.
