IPL 2024 – Match 24: RR vs GT Match Preview, Playing 11, Players to Watch, Key Stats
RR is the only undefeated team in the IPL 2024 so far
The 24th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will observe the clash of Rajasthan Royals who will be hosting Gujarat Titans at Sawai Man Singh Stadium, Jaipur on April 10, Wednesday.
Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royal have played each other five times in the IPL. In these 5 games, Gujarat has 4 wins to their name while Rajasthan has just managed a solitary win.
The Pitch at Sawai Man Singh stadium has been a belter throughout the season, bowlers have found difficulties in handling the flow of runs despite the big dimensions of the ground.
In the last game played here, it was visible that the dew got settled in the second innings which made batting easier, which should compel the captains to bowl first if they win the toss.
Rajasthan has been the most balanced side of the tournament, all of their bats have scored runs at a healthy strike rate while their bowling has successfully defended scores.
They have 4 wins in as many games which tells them they have been tough to play, and it will only get tougher because Jos Buttler has regained his lost form which should make them more dangerous going on from here.
Gujarat after winning two of their first three games, have lost two games in a row from winning positions which shows the lack of depth of their squad, which allowed the opposition to come in the game even after being down.
In the absence of David Miller, their batting is more weak than ever, which indicates the upcoming matches for them could turn out to be Hard.

Key Batters to Watch for RR vs GT:
Vijay Shankar
Shankar who was considered as an able replacement of Hardik Pandya has totally failed as a batter while his bowling has not been utilised, he will have to be amongst runs very soon. Otherwise, he may get dropped for Abhinav Manohar or Shahrukh Khan who could prove to be a better bet than him.
Dhruv Jurel
After an incredible start to his International career (albeit in a different format), Jurel has gone under the radar in this IPL because of his bleak returns. With the Wicket Keeper slot still not finalised he would want to throw his name in the mix with some substantial performances.
Key Bowlers to Watch for RR vs GT:
Darshan Nalkande
Nalkande has returned with mediocre numbers this IPL while his batting has been largely utilised, if he fails to get along they should drop him for Kartik Tyagi.
Nandre Burger
Burger has provided a new dimension to Rajasthan’s bowling with his pace and the length he bowls, he can be critical in the game against Rajasthan where he can use his back-of-length ploy against batters who can be a bit suspect against it.
