IPL 2024: Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya Not Talking to Each Other? Here’s the Big Statement by Mumbai Indians Captain

Hardik Pandya, the recently named skipper of Mumbai Indians (MI), responded diplomatically when questioned about any discussions he’s had with former captain Rohit Sharma since taking the helm for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.

Notably, the Mumbai Indians management brought back Hardik Pandya ahead of the Indian Premier League 2024 season in a monetary deal with the Gujarat Titans, under the condition that he would be made the captain of the team.

When asked if he had a chance to speak with Rohit after assuming the captaincy, the jack-of-all-trades replied frankly, citing Rohit’s busy schedule with the national team. However, he expressed eagerness to reconnect with Rohit once they are reunited in the squad.

“Yes and No. I haven’t got a lot of time to talk with Rohit because he has been touring. I will definitely catch up when he links up with the team.”

The Mumbai Indians have got a strong lineup for IPL 2024, and with Hardik Pandya in the mix, their squad gains even more depth and balance. Their campaign will kick off against Gujarat Titans, on March 24th in Ahmedabad.
