Royal Challengers Bangalore will now be known as Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), who have yet to win an IPL trophy in the 16-year history of the tournament, are now considering changing their name ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season in hopes of changing their fortunes.
While the official announcement is set to take place during the unboxing event organized by the Royal Challengers Bangalore on Tuesday, March 19, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, the franchise has dropped a hint in a video featuring actress Rashmika Mandanna.

The Royal Challengers of Bangalore will now be known as the Royal Challengers of Bengaluru.
Notably, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Women claimed the WPL trophy on Sunday, March 17th, securing an emphatic eight-wicket victory over Delhi Capitals Women in a one-sided contest. Now, it’s time for their male counterparts to replicate this success.
In addition to renowned cricketers such as former RCB captain Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Dinesh Karthik, and other players, the unboxing event will host several celebrities. The famous international singer Alan Walker will also attend the event.
