Royal Challengers Bengaluru has won the toss and decided to bowl first against Kolkata Knight Riders in the opening match of IPL 2025 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The game starts at 7:30 PM IST.
RCB captain Rajat Patidar, leading the side for the first time, said the pitch looks hard, making chasing a better option. He admitted to being slightly confused about the impact player rule but is confident in his team’s preparations.
RCB is going with three fast bowlers and two spinners. Kolkata Knight Riders’ skipper Ajinkya Rahane expressed excitement about leading the team and emphasized backing players to play freely. KKR is also fielding three pacers and two spinners.
