Sunrisers Hyderabad have won the toss and opted to bowl first against Kolkata Knight Riders in Match 15 of IPL 2025 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. SRH captain Pat Cummins admitted he struggles to read pitches but trusts his team’s aggressive approach. He emphasized balancing intent with caution. SRH have made two changes – Kamindu Mendis makes his IPL debut, and Simarjeet Singh returns to the XI.
KKR skipper Ajinkya Rahane was also keen on bowling first but is happy with the pitch, expecting it to assist spinners.
