The former captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Virat Kohli, has stated that he wants to experience the feeling of winning their first-ever IPL trophy. He’s also hopeful that they will be able to clinch their maiden IPL trophy this season.
Virat Kohli said this during the Royal Challengers’ Bangalore’s unboxing event at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on March 19, where they honoured the victorious RCB Women’s team, who recently lifted the WPL 2024 trophy.

“As everyone knows, I will always be here to be part of the group which wins for the first time, I will try my absolute best for the franchise, it’s a dream of mine as well to know how it feels to win the IPL – hopefully this year.”

Virat Kohli will make his return to competitive cricket in IPL 2024 after more than two months, having taken a break to be with his wife, Anushka Sharma, following the birth of their second child, Akaay.
