Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah has tied the knot with TV presenter Sanjana Ganesan. The couple shared adorable photos from their wedding at a gurudwara on Monday.
Their beautiful wedding was conceptualized and designed by luxury wedding designer Devika Narain in Goa. Award-winning photographer Joseph Radhik captured the perfect wedding photos of the couple who looked stunning in their respective outfits
Bumrah announced the news of their wedding by sharing a photo from the ceremony on Twitter, the caption of which read:
“Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course. Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you. Jasprit & Sanjana”.
Sanjana and Jasprit’s wedding was a private affair with only close friends and family member in attendance.
Several of Bumrah’s teammates tweeted their wishes and also commented on Bumrah’s Instagram post announcing his wedding. The Indian cricket board and Bumrah’s Indian Premier League franchise Mumbai Indians also congratulated the couple.

“Many congratulations on the start of this beautiful journey. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness,” the BCCI wrote for the couple.
“Bumrah bowled over by Sanjana,” wrote Mumbai Indians in their tweet. “Here’s wishing love, laughter and a happily ever after for @Jaspritbumrah93 and @SanjanaGanesan,” they added.
Due to “personal reasons” Bumrah had asked for a leave from the rest of the England tour. However, it was not confirmed as there was nothing heard from the cricketer himself on the matter.
But a BCCI source told ANI, “He informed the BCCI that he is getting married and has taken the leave to help in preparations for the big day.” Bumrah will also miss the entire T20I and ODI series against England which began on March 12, 2021.
Some sources close to Bumrah also confirmed that only 20 guests from either side were present at the wedding ceremony of the cricketer which strictly had a ‘no phone policy’.
