Jasprit Bumrah Misses Out, Varun Chakravarthy Joins

Bumrah’s absence is a big blow for India, as he is one of the best fast bowlers in the world. To strengthen the bowling attack, the selectors have added Varun Chakravarthy to the squad.

The spinner replaces Yashasvi Jaiswal, who was earlier part of the provisional squad. With this change, India’s squad now has more spin options. Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar, Axar Patel, and Varun Chakravarthy will lead the spin attack.

Rohit Sharma to Lead India

Rohit Sharma will captain Team India in this tournament. Shubman Gill has been named vice-captain. The squad also includes experienced players like Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and Hardik Pandya.
