Kedar Jadhav Retires from all Forms of Cricket
Kedar Jadhav has retired from all forms of cricket.
Indian cricketer Kedar Jadhav has called time on his cricketing career, effective immediately. The middle-order batter, known for his contributions in the lead-up to the 2019 World Cup, announced his retirement on social media.
Jadhav, last seen in Indian colours in 2020 against New Zealand, played a pivotal role in India‘s ODI setup. Across 73 matches, he scored 1389 runs at an average of 42.05, including two centuries and six fifties.
While featuring in the 2019 World Cup, Kedar Jadhav‘s form dipped soon after, leading to his exclusion from the team as they geared up for the 2023 edition. He also saw limited opportunities in T20Is, managing only 122 runs in nine appearances.
The 39-year-old found success in the IPL, particularly with the Chennai Super Kings during their 2018 championship run. He also played for Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, accumulating 1208 runs in 95 matches.
