Rain interrupted the KKR vs PBKS match at Eden Gardens, and fans are now waiting for an update on when play will resume.
The fourth match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is being played between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
Batting first, Punjab Kings posted a strong total of 201 runs for the loss of four wickets. In reply, Kolkata Knight Riders started steadily, scoring seven runs in the first over. However, just as the game was gaining momentum, rain interrupted play.
At 21:35 local time (IST), the covers were brought on, and the players had to leave the field. There was also strong wind at the venue. For a result to be possible, KKR needs to bat for at least five overs. Fans are hoping the rain passes quickly so that play can resume soon.
