Afghanistan pacer, Naveen-Ul-Haq reacted to his two-year ban from franchise cricket, as announced by the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) on Monday, December 25.

Apart from Naveen-Ul-Haq, the Afghanistan Cricket Board has also decided not to grant a No Objection Certificate to Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Fazalhaq Farooqi for, who sought release from their central contracts to play the franchise cricket.

The imposed two-year ban means that Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Naveen-ul-Haq, and Fazalhaq Farooqi won’t be participating in IPL 2024. Kolkata Knight Riders acquired Mujeeb Ur Rahman in the recent auction while Naveen is associated with Lucknow Super Giants, and Fazalhaq Farooqi plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
