LSG vs CSK: Why Devon Conway Is Not Playing Today’s IPL 2025 Match?
Devon Conway rested for LSG vs CSK match of IPL 2025

The 30th match of IPL 2025 is taking place at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium, where Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are facing Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
CSK skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and decided to bowl first. While announcing his playing XI at the toss, Dhoni confirmed two major changes — Ravichandran Ashwin and Devon Conway are not part of today’s lineup.
This move comes as a surprise to many, especially considering Conway’s role as a top-order batter. However, both players have not performed as expected this season. Conway has struggled to give CSK good starts, failing to make an impact with the bat in the initial overs.
Ravichandran Ashwin, on the other hand, has not been able to deliver with the ball. He has gone for runs and hasn’t picked up wickets consistently, which has hurt CSK’s bowling attack in the middle overs.
With the tournament moving into the second half, CSK might be looking to try new combinations and bring in players who can turn things around for the team.
