MLC 2023: MI New York Announces Overseas Players, Kieron Pollard Appointed As Captain

MI New York, on Wednesday (June 14) announced the signing of 9 international players, completing the roster of 18 cricketers. In addition to the players, they have also announced the coaching staff for the inaugural edition of the tournament.

Mumbai Indians legend Kieron Pollard will shoulder the captaincy duties for the franchise and the roster also includes Afghanistan’s T20 captain Rashid Khan, who leads MI Cape Town in SA20 and former West Indies captain Nicholas Pooran.

Additionally, the sister franchise of Mumbai Indians have also signed the Aussie duo of Tim David and Jason Behrendorff alongwith South Africa’s emerging star Dewald Brevis, pace sensation Kagiso Rabada and Namibia all-rounder David Wiese.
