Most Catches in ODIs for India ft. Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli equals the record for most catches in ODIs for India.

Virat Kohli, known for his exceptional fitness and sharp reflexes, has once again made history in One-Day Internationals (ODIs). The Indian batting legend equaled Mohammad Azharuddin’s record for the most catches by an Indian fielder in ODIs during the Champions Trophy 2025 clash against Bangladesh in Dubai.
Virat Kohli’s Record-Equalling Moment
The milestone catch came in the 43rd over of Bangladesh’s innings when Jaker Ali attempted a lofted shot off Mohammed Shami’s delivery. Kohli, stationed at long-on, safely pouched the top-edge, securing his 156th ODI catch.
With this, Kohli has now matched Azharuddin’s tally of 156 catches, placing him at the top of India’s all-time list of ODI fielders.
